What we collect

Calculator inputs (loan balance, rate, term, lump sum, etc.) never leave your browser. Calculations happen entirely client-side. We have no servers that store or process your loan data.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.

We also use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and which calculators are used. We never send the amounts or other values you enter into a calculator to Google Analytics. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you are asked for consent first, and Google Analytics cookies are not set unless you agree. Learn how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies and tracking

We use:

• Google AdSense for display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet.
• Affiliate links. Some links to lenders or comparison services may be affiliate links. If you use one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you.
• Google Analytics to measure site usage, as described under Analytics above.
• No remarketing pixels. No social media trackers.

Advertising choices

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google at Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. If you block cookies, you may see less relevant ads, but the calculators work the same.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent through Google's consent message before cookies are used for personalized ads.

Information we share

We do not sell your personal information. Google Analytics collects usage data through cookies, and when ads are shown, Google and its partners may collect information through cookies, as described above. We have no email list. We have no user accounts. We have no CRM.

Third-party services we use (Google Analytics, AdSense, affiliate networks, hosting) have their own privacy policies governing data collected through their integrations.

Your rights

We don't collect names, email addresses, or account details, so we hold nothing about you to request, correct, or delete. Usage data from Google Analytics and advertising cookies is held by Google; see the links above to opt out. To clear cookies, use your browser's privacy settings.

Children

RecastCalc is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
